Source: Insider Insider sources: U.S. CFTC nominee Brian Quintenz's nomination is stalled, with multiple cryptocurrency industry organizations jointly supporting him.
BlockBeats News, August 20th, According to crypto reporter Eleanor Terrett, Brian Quintenz, the nominee for the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), recently took the initiative to contact members of the crypto industry for a meeting after his nomination was put on hold for three weeks. Since the Senate Judiciary Committee postponed his confirmation hearing three weeks ago, the White House has not made any comments.
Meanwhile, several industry organizations, including the Digital Chamber, Blockchain Association, Crypto Council, and Fund DeFi, are preparing a joint letter of support, which is expected to be submitted to President Trump as early as tomorrow regarding his nomination.
